Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 200 gms mutton kheema


  • 1 nos chopped onion


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp red chilly powder


  • 1/4 tsp garam masala powder


  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 2 tsp refined oil - and the lot to fry


  • 1 cups outer covering, maida


  • 1/4 cups ghee/dalda


  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions

  • Marinate the mutton kheema with ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder and chilly powder, salt. Heat the kadhai with oil, add chopped onions
  • Once it is golden brown, add the marinated mutton and cook on a low flame till almost done.
  • Add the chopped coriander leaves and garam masala powder. Cool it.
  • To make the dough, mix the maida, ghee and salt. Add little water to form a tight dough. Rest it for 15 minutes.
  • Now take little dough and roll it, I have used square shaped cookie cutter to get squares.
  • Take one square and put little kheema mixture. Dab little water on the sides and close it with another square dough. Seal the ends .Deep fry them in hot oil, on a medium heat.
  • P.S : the garam masala powder consists only elaichi, cloves and cinnamon.
