Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 200 gms mutton


  • 2 nos potatoes


  • 2 nos chopped onion


  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp red chilly powder


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1 cups tomato puree


  • 1/2 cups curd


  • 1 tsp (elaichi + cloves + cinnamon) powder


  • 3 tbsp cashew paste


  • 6 tbsp refined oil


  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  • Boil the mutton with some water and salt in a pressure cooker. Strain the mutton pieces.
  • Mix the boiled mutton with curd, ginger garlic paste, red chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, little salt.
  • Peel the potatoes and slice them into halves. Deep fry them in hot oil and keep aside.
  • In the same oil , add half amount of the powder (elaichi+ cloves+ cinnamon) followed by the chopped onions.
  • Fry till golden brown and then add the marinated mutton. Add the fried potatoes.
  • Once almost done, add the tomato puree, and cook further.Add the mutton stock and bring up-to boil.Then add the cashew paste, and check for salt. Serve.
