Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 400 gms arbi


  • 6 nos shallots


  • 1 nos tomato


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 tsp chilli powder


  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds powder


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 5 tsp oil

Directions

  • Cook Arbi in cooker until 3 whistles.
  • After cooking cool it, remove the skin and cut into round slices.
  • Grind shallots and tomato in the small mixer jar.
  • To this paste add chilli powder, gg paste, saunf powder and salt.
  • Add this to arbi and mix well.
  • Shallow fry this in the non stick kadai with oil until it attains roast consistency.
  • Best side dish for sambar, Dal and buttermilk kuzhambu.
