Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1/2 kgs mutton


  • 1/2 cups yoghurt


  • 1 tbsp ginger paste


  • 1 tbsp garlic paste


  • 2 nos tomatoes


  • 1 tsp salt to taste


  • 1/2 tsp haldi


  • 1 tsp red chili powder


  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves


  • 2 nos green cardamom


  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg


  • 1/4 tsp mace


  • 4-5 tbsp oil


  • 3 tbsp cream


  • 4 nos onion,medium


  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder


  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder

Directions

  • In a mixing bowl add mutton, curd, ginger garlic paste, haldi, red chili powder, coriander powder, Cumin Powder and salt and mix everything properly and keep aside
  • Clean and chop onions and tomatoes
  • In a pressure cooker heat oil, then add chopped onion and saute up to golden brown.
  • In the meantime grind green cardamom, mace abd nutmeg together
  • When onion is brown add marinated mutton to it and saute it properly.
  • When mutton is totally dry add 1 cup of hot water and close the lid and cook for 2 to 3 whistles.
  • Let the pressure die naturally.
  • When pressure released , open the cooker and keep it on the gas again.
  • Now add grinded masala and coriander leaves and cook fir 5 to 6 mins on simmer.
  • Serve hot with roti, paratha or naan.
