Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Mutton Chops - 12 nos


  • Large onion - 1


  • Large tomato - 1


  • 1 inch Ginger piece


  • 6 garlic pods


  • 3 nos green chillies


  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder


  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder


  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder


  • 1 teaspoon mutton masala powder


  • 1/4 cup clarified butter


  • 2 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves

Directions

  • Mutton has been an attraction for me always. Mutton chops is a mughlai dish, mutton chops masala serve as a main dish with chapati or rice. I decided to cook this for dinner. 
  • Grind into fine paste ( onion, tomato, ginger, garlic n green chili)
  • Heat clarified butter in pressure cooker add prepared paste n saute for 10mins on low flame.
  • Add mutton chops with all spices( salt, red chili, turmeric, coriander, garam masala and mutton masala)  mix it well n add 200 ml water in it, cover the lid  cook it on 7 whistle or till the chops done. Switch off the gas n let them cool on room temperature.
  • Open the lid check the consistency if req then add 1 cup of water n then again cook it on 4 to 5 whistles.
  • Wait till air release from pressure cooker now add coriander leaves.
  • Goat meat mutton chops r ready to serve
  • Serve this with naan, chapati, kulcha whatever you like to serve this with.
