Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 500 gms mutton


  • 4 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 2 nos onion


  • 1 nos tomato


  • 2 nos green chili


  • 1 inch cinnamon


  • 2 nos cloves


  • 1 tsp pepper


  • 1/2 nos curry leaves,handful


  • 1/2 nos coriander leaves,handful


  • 2 tsp powder salt


  • 500 ml water


  • 4 tsp oil


  • 1 tsp fennel seed powder


  • 1 tsp garam masala


  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder

Directions

  • Cook Mutton in the cooker with water, 2 spoons gg paste and turmeric powder until 5 whistles.
  • Grind tomato with pepper, green chillies, cinnamon and cloves.
  • Place a kadai on the stove.
  • Add oil to the kadai.
  • When oil is hot add fennel seed powder.
  • At once add finely chopped onions.
  • Next add 2 spoons gg paste and Curry leaves.
  • Saute for 3 minutes.
  • Now add tomato paste.
  • Saute for 5 minutes.
  • Add cooked Mutton with required amount of water.
  • Add chilli powder, garam masala and salt.
  • Close the kadai and cook the Mutton until it reaches thick consistency.
  • Transfer the dish to a plate.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Extra water can be used to prepare soup.
