Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Mutton 500 gms

  • Ginger Garlic Paste 4 tsp

  • turmeric powder 1 tsp

  • onion 2 nos

  • tomato 1 nos

  • Green Chili 2 nos

  • Cinnamon 1 inch

  • Cloves 2 nos

  • Pepper 1 tsp

  • Curry Leaves,handful 1/2 nos

  • Coriander Leaves,handful 1/2 nos

  • Powder Salt 2 tsp

  • Water 500 ml

  • Oil 4 tsp

  • Fennel Seed Powder 1 tsp

  • Garam Masala 1 tsp

  • Red Chili Powder 1/2 tsp

Directions

    Cook Mutton in the cooker with water, 2 spoons gg paste and turmeric powder until 5 whistles.

    Grind tomato with pepper, green chillies, cinnamon and cloves.

    Place a kadai on the stove.

  • 04

    Add oil to the kadai.

  • 05

    When oil is hot add fennel seed powder.

    At once add finely chopped onions.

  • 07

    Next add 2 spoons gg paste and Curry leaves.

    Saute for 3 minutes.

    Now add tomato paste.

    Saute for 5 minutes.

    Add cooked Mutton with required amount of water.

    Add chilli powder, garam masala and salt.

    Close the kadai and cook the Mutton until it reaches thick consistency.

    Transfer the dish to a plate.

  • 15

    Garnish with coriander leaves.

  • 16

    Extra water can be used to prepare soup.
