Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1 kgs mutton


  • 1/2 cups onion(sliced)


  • 1/2 cups onion(fried)


  • 4 nos cardamom


  • 2 nos bayleaf


  • 3 nos cloves


  • 1 inch cinnamon


  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder


  • 2 tsp cumin powder


  • 1/2 tsp pepper powder


  • 2 tbsp coriander powder


  • 4 tbsp ginger garlic paste


  • 2 tsp turmeric


  • 1/4 cups curd


  • 1/2 cups oil


  • 1 tsp salt to taste


  • 3 nos for tempering- dry chillies


  • 4 nos garlic pods


  • 1 nos onion( cubed)


  • 1/2 cups oil

Directions

  • Marinate the mutton with the rest of the ingredients for 1 hour. Next heat a wok and add the marinated mutton, saute for sometime . Add required amount of water . Cook covered for 1 hour.
  • For tempering, heat 1/2 cup oil. Add dry chillies, garlic and onion . Pour this tempering on the cooked meat. Increase the flame and keep stirring for 5 mins.Remove and serve with rice or roti.
