Marinate the mutton with the rest of the ingredients for 1 hour. Next heat a wok and add the marinated mutton, saute for sometime . Add required amount of water . Cook covered for 1 hour.
For tempering, heat 1/2 cup oil. Add dry chillies, garlic and onion . Pour this tempering on the cooked meat. Increase the flame and keep stirring for 5 mins.Remove and serve with rice or roti.
