Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 1 cups bengal gram


  • 1 cups cleaned and chopped vazhaipoo


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 2 nos chopped onion


  • 3 nos green chili


  • 1/2 nos curry leaves,handful


  • 1/2 nos coriander leaves,handful


  • 1 tsp sombu powder


  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  • Soak Bengal gram for 1 hour
  • Meanwhile clean and chop the Vazhaipoo.
  • After 1 hour grind the Bengal gram with green chillies and salt.
  • Grind it coarsely.
  • To this batter add finely chopped onions, gg paste, sombu powder, finely chopped coriander leaves and Curry leaves and finely chopped Vazhaipoo.
  • Mix well.
  • Prepare vadais and deep fry them in hot oil.
