Ingredients

Serves 3

  • Mutton keema - 1 cup

  • Tur dal - 1 cup soaked in water

  • Chopped onion - 1cup

  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp

  • Chopped tomato - 1/2 cup

  • Coriander pwd - 1 tbsp

  • Cumin powder - 1 tsp

  • Whole spices - cinnamon 1 stick , cardamom 2, clove 3 and nutmeg 1/4 tsp

  • Red chilly powder - 1 tsp

  • Chopped coriander - 1 tbsp

  • Bay leaf - 1 nos

  • Salt - 1 1/2 tsp or as per taste

  • Ghee - 1 tbsp

  • Oil - 1 tbsp

  • Turmeric pwd - 1 tsp

  • Grated papaya - 1 tbsp

    Pressure cook the soaked tur dal .

    Heat oil add Bay leaf, whole spices and chopped onion , fry it till brown colour.

    Add ginger garlic paste and all the dry ingredients. Saute the masalas and add mutton keema and grated papaya, cover the Kadhai and cook till soft.

    Now add chopped tomatoes and boiled dal, salt . Cook them another 5 - 7 minutes. Pour 1 tbsp ghee and serve.
