Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • Mutton keema - 1 cup


  • Tur dal - 1 cup soaked in water


  • Chopped onion - 1cup


  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp


  • Chopped tomato - 1/2 cup


  • Coriander pwd - 1 tbsp


  • Cumin powder - 1 tsp


  • Whole spices - cinnamon 1 stick , cardamom 2, clove 3 and nutmeg 1/4 tsp


  • Red chilly powder - 1 tsp


  • Chopped coriander - 1 tbsp


  • Bay leaf - 1 nos


  • Salt - 1 1/2 tsp or as per taste


  • Ghee - 1 tbsp


  • Oil - 1 tbsp


  • Turmeric pwd - 1 tsp


  • Grated papaya - 1 tbsp

Directions

  • Pressure cook the soaked tur dal .
  • Heat oil add Bay leaf, whole spices and chopped onion , fry it till brown colour.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and all the dry ingredients. Saute the masalas and add mutton keema and grated papaya, cover the Kadhai and cook till soft.
  • Now add chopped tomatoes and boiled dal, salt . Cook them another 5 - 7 minutes. Pour 1 tbsp ghee and serve.
