Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1 kgs mutton with bone


  • 100 gms tur dal


  • 100 gms urad dal


  • 100 gms broken wheat


  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste


  • 2 cups brown(fried) onion


  • 1 cups fried cashew


  • 1/4 cups whole garam masala( cinnamon, cardamom, clove, staranis and big cardamom)


  • 1 tbsp coriander


  • 1 tsp cumin


  • 6-7 nos red chilly


  • 4-5 tbsp ghee


  • 1/4 cups cashew paste


  • 2 tbsp khaskhas


  • 7-8 nos green chilies


  • 1 cups chopped coriander


  • 1 tsp salt - to taste


  • 1 tsp sugar(optional)

Directions

  • Soak the Tur dal, urad dal and broken wheat in the water .
  • Put mutton pieces in the pressure cooker. Add all water soaked dal, ginger garlic paste, whole masalas, garam masala and bay leaves. Add 2 - 3 cups of water and give 3 - 4 whistle .
  • After cool down the cooker , shortened the bones from boiled meat mixture.
  • Put boiled meat mixture into food processor and blend them together into smooth.
  • Heat ghee in another pan ,add few whole spices, add cashew paste, khaskhas paste and saute for 2mins and add mutton dal mixture, bones also. Add salt.
  • Add brown onion mix properly and slow cook till oil separated from the side. Check the salt and sugar.
  • Add fried dry fruits and mix well.
  • Sprinkle chopped coriander, brown onion and serve with added ghee ( optional)
