Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1 cup maida.


  • 1 cup grated coconut


  • 1/2 cup jaggery


  • 1 tsp elaichi powder.


  • 1 tsp nutmeg powder


  • 1 pinch salt


  • 2-3 tsp dry fruits


  • 2 tsp ghee

Directions

  • Take maida make a dough. Divide in 6 portions and make small balls
  • In a pan take ghee and add all remaining igredients. Mix it well. Saute till jaggery melts. Do not over cook or jaggery will bevome sticky
  • Now roll out small roti and stuff this filling in and close edgde applying some water.
  • Take oil in pan for frying and deep fry it.
  • Modak is ready !
