FOR GULAB.JAMUN: Nido Milk powder 3 tbsp
All Purpose flour/Maida 1 tbsp
Semolina 1 tbsp
Baking Soda 1 pinch
Melted Butter or Ghee 1 tbsp
Milk,as needed 3-4 tbsp
For Sugar Syrup:Sugar 1 cups
Water 1 1/2 cups
Saffron Strands 5-6 nos
Cardamom Powder 1 tsp
For syrup., in a pan.take sugar, add water and bring to.a gentle boil and simmer till 1-thread consistency is formed
Now add saffron.and cardamom powder to.the syrup. Cover and keep aside.
In a wide vessel mix Nido powder, maida, semolina, melted butter, a pinch of soda and crumble gently.
Slowly add milk and form soft dough
Grease palms and make balls from dough.
Deep fry the balls on low to moderate flame.
After 5 minutes plunge the jamuns into the hot sugar syrup..
Cover the lid and let the jamuns steep in the syrup for.2 hours.
Serve and enjoy.
