Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • Jackfruit seeds boiled and blended coarsely                      - 1 cup


  • Finely chopped onions                                                                - 2 nos


  • Besan                                                                                                   - 1 cup


  • Rice flour                                                                                           - 50 grams


  • Garam masala powder                                                                - 1 tsp


  • Red chilli powder                                                                          - 1 tsp


  • Ginger garlic paste. - 1 tsp


  • Fennel seed                                                                                     - 1 tsp


  • Salt                                                                                                      - 1 tsp or to taste


  • Oil- 500 ml for deep frying

Directions

  • Blend boiled jackfruit seeds with ginger and garlic paste coarsely.
  • Mix the blended jackfruit seeds with besan, rice flour, chopped onions, garam masala powder, chilli powder and salt, mix well.
  • Heat oil in a pan and drop a tbsp of pakora batter in to the oil.
  • Fry till it turns golden colour. Remove from oil and drain it in a colander.
  • Jackfruit seed pakoras are ready to serve.
  • Serve hot with any accompaniments as you wish.
