Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds


  • 1 cups chopped onions


  • 1 tbsp haldi


  • 1 tbsp garam masala


  • 2 1/2 tbsp salt


  • 1 cups tomatoes


  • 1 cups peas


  • 1/2 bowls washed rice


  • 500 ml water

Directions

  • In a cooker add oil and cumin seeds and crackle it.
  • Now add onions and saute it for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Now add in haldi, garam masala and salt and mix well for 30 seconds.
  • Now add tomatoes and peas and mix well and saute it for 5 minutes or till it leaves the oil.
  • Now add rice and mix well.
  • Now add water and mix well. And close it with the lid and wait for 1 whistle to come.
  • Your veg biriyani or pulao is ready.
