Ingredients

Serves 4

  • oil 2 tbsp

  • cumin seeds 1 tbsp

  • chopped onions 1 cups

  • haldi 1 tbsp

  • garam masala 1 tbsp

  • salt 2 1/2 tbsp

  • tomatoes 1 cups

  • peas 1 cups

  • washed rice 1/2 bowls

  • water 500 ml

Directions

    In a cooker add oil and cumin seeds and crackle it.

    Now add onions and saute it for 4 to 5 minutes.

  • 03

    Now add in haldi, garam masala and salt and mix well for 30 seconds.

  • 04

    Now add tomatoes and peas and mix well and saute it for 5 minutes or till it leaves the oil.

    Now add rice and mix well.

  • 06

    Now add water and mix well. And close it with the lid and wait for 1 whistle to come.

  • 07

    Your veg biriyani or pulao is ready.
