Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 250 gms paneer


  • 1-2 nos capsicum


  • 2 nos onions


  • 2 nos tomatoes


  • 200 gms for marinate:thick curd


  • 1 tsp chat masala


  • 1 tsp tandoori masala and ginger garlic paste


  • 1 tsp kashmiri lal mirch


  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  • 1 tsp kasturi methi


  • 1 tsp salt or as needed


  • 1/2 tsp haldi


  • 4 tbsp or batter :gram flour


  • 1 tsp salt to taste

Directions

  • Cut paneer , capsicum , into cubes. Halve tomatoe, deseed it and cut into cubes
  • Cut onion and separate every layer. Cut it into square shapes. Keep all veggies aside.
  • In a bowl take mix all marinade mixture - curd, kasuri methi, chat masala, tandoori masala,lemon juice, salt to taste,
  • Add ginger garlic paste and mix well. Add some water and coat paneer and veggies in this mix. Keep it in fridge 10 minutes. But it tastes better if kept overnight.
  • for batter: take gram flour and add some water with salt .
  • for frying: Heat oil in a pan. dip all veggiesin batter and shallow. In same oil fry paneer.
  • Take a skewer and layer it alternately.
  • If you want you can also grill paneer. Apply oil over it and put inside the oven for 5 minutes.
  • Dice some onions and add 1sp vinegar with some mint leaves.
  • Use this salad while serving this hot spicy paneer tikka.
