Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 3 bowls maida


  • 4 bowls sugar


  • 2 tsp cardamom powder


  • 1 tsp edible saffron colour


  • 1 tsp green colour


  • 5 tsp cornflour


  • 2 bowls ghee for frying


  • 5 nos almonds,keshewnuts

Directions

  • Take maida divide in three parts
  • Add saffron colour in water and green colour in another bowl of water
  • Now add water in 1 part of maida and knead the dough in white colour
  • Now add saffron colour water in second part of maida and knead it
  • Then add green colour water in third part of maida and knead it
  • Now tricolour dough is ready
  • Mix cornflour in ghee and make smooth paste
  • Take sugar add water above it's level and make sugar syrup add cardamom powder
  • Now roll saffron colour chapati with roling pin,another chapati with whiye colour and third with green colour
  • Place saffron colour chappati apply cornflour paste put white chappati,apply cornflour paste then green chappati apply cornflour paste .then make a roll
  • Cut the roll with knife to make enough size ball
  • Put the cut ball and roll it little bit with rolling pin
  • Heat ghee in frying pan put the chirota in ghee and deep fry till becomes crispy on low flame
  • Dip chirotas in sugar syrup for 3,4 minutes take it out and cool it
  • Your chirotas are ready to serv
  • Garnish with almond and keshewnuts
