Ingredients

  • 1 kgs mutton


  • 5 nos finely sliced onion


  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste


  • 2 tsp red chilly powder


  • 1 tsp kashmiri mirch powder


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder


  • 1-2 nos bay leaf


  • 2-3 nos green cardamom


  • 1 nos black cardamom


  • 1 piece mace


  • 1 piece nut meg


  • 1 inch cinnamon stick


  • 3-4 nos cloves


  • 2-3 nos black pepper


  • 1/2 cups curd


  • 2 tbsp cashew nut paste


  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 tsp salt-to taste


  • 4 tbsp clarified butter


  • 1/2 cups oil

Directions

  • Dry roast the whole garam masala.Heat oil and clarified butter in a pan.
  • Add Sliced Onion And Fry Till Pink And Strain It. Once Cooled To Make A Fine Paste Of Fried Onion And Roasted Garam Masala.
  • Heat Oil And Clarified Butter In A Pan. Add Mutton Pieces And Cover It And Cook In A Slow Flame.
  • When Water Absorb It And Mutton Pieces Were Fried Keep Aside. Heat Clarified Butter And Oil In A Pan.
  • Add Ginger Garlic Paste And Saute For One To Two Mins. Now Add Coriander Powder,Red Chilly Powder,Turmeric Powder,,Kashmiri Mirch Powder And Mix Well.
  • Whisk The Curd And Add In The Pan. Add Fried Onion And Whole Garam Masala Paste And Saute For 4 - 5 Mins Add Cashew Nut Paste And Mix Well.
  • Add Fried Mutton Pieces And Mix Well. Add One Cup Of Water And Cover It And Cook In A Slow Flame For 20 Mins.
  • Add Garam Masala Powder And Salt And Mix Well. Serve Hot With Chapati Or Naan.
