All Purpose Flour 150 gms
Ground Sugar 150 gms
Unsweetened Cocoa Powder 25 gms
Milk @ room temperature 60 ml
Thick Yoghurt @ room temp 60 ml
Oil or Melted Butter 1/3 cups
Salt 1/4 tsp
Baking Powder 1 tsp
Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
Hot Coffee ( 1/2teaspoon mixed with.1/2 cup hot water) 1/2 cups
Preheat oven at 200 degrees Celsius. Grease the cupcake moulds
Sieve flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking.powder, baking soda and sugar.
Make a well in the centre and then add in order-hot coffee, oil or melted butter, milk, yoghurt and mix gently. Do not overmix
Add vanilla essence.
Pour batter in the greased moulds
Top with chopped nuts
Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for.10.minutes. Then reduce temperature to 180 degrees Celsius and bake.for 15 minutes.
Check.for doneness with.toothpick.
Cool and serve
