Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 150 gms all purpose flour


  • 150 gms ground sugar


  • 25 gms unsweetened cocoa powder


  • 60 ml milk @ room temperature


  • 60 ml thick yoghurt @ room temp


  • 1/3 cups oil or melted butter


  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • 1 tsp vanilla essence


  • 1/2 cups hot coffee ( 1/2teaspoon mixed with.1/2 cup hot water)

Directions

  • Preheat oven at 200 degrees Celsius. Grease the cupcake moulds
  • Sieve flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking.powder, baking soda and sugar.
  • Make a well in the centre and then add in order-hot coffee, oil or melted butter, milk, yoghurt and mix gently. Do not overmix
  • Add vanilla essence.
  • Pour batter in the greased moulds
  • Top with chopped nuts
  • Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for.10.minutes. Then reduce temperature to 180 degrees Celsius and bake.for 15 minutes.
  • Check.for doneness with.toothpick.
  • Cool and serve
