Ingredients

Serves 5

  • All Purpose Flour 150 gms

  • Ground Sugar 150 gms

  • Unsweetened Cocoa Powder 25 gms

  • Milk @ room temperature 60 ml

  • Thick Yoghurt @ room temp 60 ml

  • Oil or Melted Butter 1/3 cups

  • Salt 1/4 tsp

  • Baking Powder 1 tsp

  • Vanilla Essence 1 tsp

  • Hot Coffee ( 1/2teaspoon mixed with.1/2 cup hot water) 1/2 cups

Directions

    Preheat oven at 200 degrees Celsius. Grease the cupcake moulds

  • 02

    Sieve flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking.powder, baking soda and sugar.

    Make a well in the centre and then add in order-hot coffee, oil or melted butter, milk, yoghurt and mix gently. Do not overmix

    Add vanilla essence.

  • 05

    Pour batter in the greased moulds

  • 06

    Top with chopped nuts

    Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for.10.minutes. Then reduce temperature to 180 degrees Celsius and bake.for 15 minutes.

    Check.for doneness with.toothpick.

  • 09

    Cool and serve
