Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 70 gms dry ingredients: plain flour


  • 50 gms unsweetened cocoa powder


  • 1/2 tsp baking powder


  • 1/4 tsp baking soda


  • 1 pinch salt


  • 1/2 cups wet ingredients: unsalted butter


  • 1 nos sweetened condensed milk can(10.oz)


  • 2 tbsp thick yoghurt


  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence


  • 1 tbsp instant coffee(optional)


  • 1/4 - 1/2 cups hot water


  • 50 gms chopped walnuts


  • 2 tbsp sugar (optional)


  • 1/2 tsp oil for greasing

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
  • In a bowl sieve and mix all ingredients under DRY INGREDIENTS
  • For WET INGREDIENTS, in a bowl add butter, condensed milk,vanilla essence and sugar. Whip nicely.
  • To this add yoghurt and blend again.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients bit by bit.
  • Add coffee portion half at a time
  • Adjust consistency with hot water if needed.
  • Pour batter in.a greased tray and keep it in preheated oven for 25 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. .
  • Check for doneness with toothpick.
  • If done take out from oven. Cool., cut and enjoy.
