Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Mutton 1 kgs

  • Boiled Potato 5 nos

  • onion 3 nos

  • tomato 2 nos

  • garlic 20 nos

  • Ginger Paste 2 tsp

  • turmeric powder 2 tsp

  • Kahmiri Red chili Powder 5 tsp

  • Garam Masala 1 tsp

  • Bay Leaves 2 nos

  • cinamon stick 1 inch

  • Cloves 6 nos

  • Star Anise 1 nos

  • Green Chili 5 nos

  • meat masala 2 tsp

  • cumin powder 1 tsp

  • Black Cardamom 2 nos

  • Dry Red Chili 2 nos

Directions

    Marinate the mutton with salt, red chilli powder & turmeric powder for at least 2 hous

  • 02

    Boil potatoes & then fry it in oil.

    Heat oil, add bay leaves, star anise, cinnamon stick, black cardamom, dry red chilli, chopped garlic & cloves.Saute it for a while.

    Add chopped onion, tomato, green chilli & garlic paste.Make a soft mixture of it.

    Make it cool for sometime & then make a paste of it.

    Add oil again & fry the mixture for few mins.

    Add marinatd mutton & all spices in it.Add some hot water.Cover it & cook it for at least 45 mins.

    Add boiled & fried potatoes & garam masala.

  • 09

    Adjust salt & gravy.Switch off the flame now.

  • 10

    Serve it wih hot long grain rice
