Ingredients

Serves 5

  • Figs overnight soaked and pureed in water 10 nos

  • Fresh Turmeric Powder 1 cups

  • Jaggery 1 cups

  • Milk 1 cups

  • Kishmish 12-14 nos

  • Coconut Powder 2 tbsp

  • Almonds Peeled and Chopped 12 nos

  • Cashews 10-12 nos

  • Clarified Butter 2 tbsp

Directions

    Heat a heavy bottom pan and add clarified butter into it . Add Grated turmeric into it saute till it releases fats.

    Then add milk into it . Let it simmer and stir occasionally till the mixture starts leaving the sides.

    Now add figs puree and jaggery into it. Cook it till bubbly. Then add all the dry fruits into it and mix well . Cook for 5 minutes more.

    Garnish with cashews and coconut powder. Serve hot . Yummy and healthy halva is ready to relish.
