  • 4 nos noodles of lasagna; broken into bite sized pieces

  • 1/2 cups mozzarella

  • 200 gms lamb mince

  • 1 tsp oregano

  • 1 nos large onion;finely chopped

  • 2-3 nos garlic cloves; finely chopped

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp red chili flakes

  • 1 tsp crushed black pepper

  • 2 nos large fresh tomatoes:blanched and pureed

  • 3 tbsp tomato paste

  • 1/4 cups grated parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 cups chopped parseley fresh or dried one


  • Heat up the olive oil in a deep pot. Add the chopped onions and garlic and saute till the onions are nearly browned.
  • Add in the mince along with cumin powder, chilli flakes, crushed black pepper and oregano.
  • Next, add in the tomatoes and tomato paste and let it simmer for about 20 mins.
  • After 20 mins, it is time to add parmesan and broken lasagna noodles along with a cup of water.
  • Let it simmer for another 15 mins or till the water has been reduced fairly and the noodles cooked.
  • Take it out in bowls and during serving, sprinkle mozzarella cheese and parsley flakes.
  • Lasagna soup is a simplified version of lasagna. This is an effortless preparation and requires the most basic ingredients. It is a great alternative to the classic Lasagna. Absolutely lipsmacking and a super yummy soup as a warm winter starter. This is a fully loaded cheesy extravaganza and will be loved by all the age groups.
