Ingredients

  • Potato cut in cubes 4 nos


  • Peas 1/2 cups


  • Onion finely chopped 2 nos


  • Haldi 1 tsp


  • Mirch 2 tsp


  • Oil 2 tbsp


  • rai 1 tsp

Directions

  • In a pan take oil and add rai. Let it splutter.
  • Add onions and salt to taste. Let onions turn brown.
  • Add ginger garlic paste
  • Add potatoes and cover the lid
  • Simmer it for 5 minutes .
  • Add salt , haldi and mirchi powder. Mix well and cover again
  • Meanwhile Boil the peas In water
  • When potatoes are cooked add peas along with water and cover it for 5 minutes.
  • Bring it to a boil.
  • Aloo mattar is ready. Serve hot with rice or chapati
