Ingredients

  • Rice 3 cups


  • capsicum 1 nos


  • green chillies 2 nos


  • bayleaf , cloves, star aniese 1 nos


  • Peppercorns 5 nos


  • cabbage 1/2 nos


  • cauliflower 1/2 nos


  • potato 1 nos

Directions

  • Boil basmati rice in pressure cooker adding cloves.
  • Cut potatoe wedges and fry it. Fry cauliflower florets.
  • In same oil add all spices and add chopped capsicum , carrots and salt to taste.
  • Add all fried veggies and cook it for 5 minutes.
  • Add boiled rice and close the lid for 5 minutes.
  • You can also add roasted cashews , and veggies you like. Peas can go well in pulao.
