Ingredients

Serves 8

  • edible gum (gond) 5 tbsp

  • Ghee 6 tbsp

  • Whole Wheat Flour 1 1/4 cups

  • Boora Sugar 1/2 cups

  • Black Pepper ,roughly crushed 1/2 tsp

  • Almond,chopped 3 tbsp

  • Dry Coconut,Grated 3 tbsp

  • Ghee for deep frying the gond 1/2 cups

Directions

  • 01

    heat ghee in a non stick pan, add flour and roast it over medium flame for 10 minutes, stirring continuously

  • 02

    keep aside to cool completely

  • 03

    heat the ghee for deep frying in a kadai and deep fry the gond till the pieces puffs up

  • 04

    transfer this fried gond to a plate and allow it to cool

  • 05

    combine sugar, fried gond, almond, coconut, black pepper and flour in a deep bowl, mix well

  • 06

    divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each into a medium round ball

  • 07

    serve or store in an air tight container
