  • 5 tbsp edible gum (gond)

  • 6 tbsp ghee

  • 1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour

  • 1/2 cups boora sugar

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper ,roughly crushed

  • 3 tbsp almond,chopped

  • 3 tbsp dry coconut,grated

  • 1/2 cups ghee for deep frying the gond


  • heat ghee in a non stick pan, add flour and roast it over medium flame for 10 minutes, stirring continuously
  • keep aside to cool completely
  • heat the ghee for deep frying in a kadai and deep fry the gond till the pieces puffs up
  • transfer this fried gond to a plate and allow it to cool
  • combine sugar, fried gond, almond, coconut, black pepper and flour in a deep bowl, mix well
  • divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each into a medium round ball
  • serve or store in an air tight container
