Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp ragi


  • 1/4 tsp ghee


  • 1 tsp jaggery syrup


  • 1 cups water

Directions

  • Take ragi, rinse it well with water for 5 times and soak it overnight. Take it in a mixer jar.
  • Add water and grind it well.
  • Take a muslin cloth transfer the mixture and extract milk and squeeze it well.The milk will be thick.
  • In the same way do 3 times and extract the milk.
  • Take the extracted milk in a kadai, add little water and heat it on stove top.
  • Keep mixing with a laddle else it will form lumps. It will slowly get thick.
  • Once cooked well, there will be a shiny layer formed on top which is means the porridge is cooked well, finally add ghee and Jaggey mix well.
  • Cook for 2 more mins and then serve.
