Ingredients

Serves 4

  • leftover chapati dough 1/2 cups

  • Ripen Banana,chopped 1/2 nos

  • Curd 2 tbsp

  • Fennel Seeds 1/2 tsp

  • Green Cardamoms 2 nos

  • Water or as required 1/3 cups

  • Ghee for frying 2 cups

  • For Sugar Syrup:Sugar 1/2 cups

  • Water 1/2 cups

Directions

    first take the dough and divide into small portions

  • 02

    in a mixer jar add the dough, banana, curd, fennel seeds and cardamoms and crush to a smooth paste

  • 03

    add water as required and crush again

  • 04

    the batter should be thick

  • 05

    transfer the batter into a bowl and keep aside

  • 06

    now for making syrup, heat a pan

  • 07

    add sugar and water

  • 08

    cook for 4-5 minutes to make one string syrup

    switch off the flame and keep aside

  • 10

    now heat ghee in a pan for deep frying

  • 11

    pour a spoon full of batter in the hot ghee and fry it on low flame till brown from one side

    then turn it to fry the other side

    once done, take it out from ghee and dip in sugar syrup for a minute

    take them out from the syrup, sprinkle some fennel seeds and serve
