Ingredients

  • Salmon (Rawas) fish 250g

  • Onion 1 large, chopped

  • Methi seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Kasuri Methi 1 teaspoon

  • Dried chillies 3-4

  • Curd 1/2 cup

  • Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon

  • Salt 1 teaspoon + 1 teaspoon

  • Mustard oil 2 tablespoon

Directions

    Marinate the fish pieces with salt and turmeric powder for 10 minutes.

    Fry the fishes lightly from both sides and keep aside.

    To the Kadai add mustard oil, when the oil is hot add fenugreek seeds and dried red chillies.

    Add chopped onions and saute. Add Kasuri methi.

    Once the onion turn pink add little water to cook the onions completely.

    Add half cup curd and mix well. Simmer for 2 minutes.

    Add the fried fish pieces and simmer for 5 minutes.

    Keep it covered for 10 minutes before serving with white rice.
