Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • Salmon (Rawas) fish 250g


  • Onion 1 large, chopped


  • Methi seeds 1 teaspoon


  • Kasuri Methi 1 teaspoon


  • Dried chillies 3-4


  • Curd 1/2 cup


  • Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon


  • Salt 1 teaspoon + 1 teaspoon


  • Mustard oil 2 tablespoon

Directions

  • Marinate the fish pieces with salt and turmeric powder for 10 minutes.
  • Fry the fishes lightly from both sides and keep aside.
  • To the Kadai add mustard oil, when the oil is hot add fenugreek seeds and dried red chillies.
  • Add chopped onions and saute. Add Kasuri methi.
  • Once the onion turn pink add little water to cook the onions completely.
  • Add half cup curd and mix well. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Add the fried fish pieces and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Keep it covered for 10 minutes before serving with white rice.
