Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Rice flour 100 gms

  • Butter 50 gms

  • Fried peanut crushed 1/2 cups

  • Milk 1/4 cups

  • Sambhar powder 1 tsp

  • Sesame seeds 2 tsp

  • Ajwain 1 tsp

  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp

  • Salt 1/2 tsp

Directions

    Cream butter well and add crushed peanut and sambhar powder. Add ajwain and salt to the creamy butter mixture.

    Cream well together. Add sifted rice flour with baking powder to the mixture.

    Mix well till crumbly. Add milk and mix well to make a palpable dough.

    Flatten the dough with a rolling pin and use a cookie cutter to desired shapes.Brush milk on top of each biscuit dough. Sprinkle sesame seed on each biscuit pieces.

    Preheat oven to 180 degree centigrade. Bake it for 15 minutes till slight golden brown. Rice Peanut Biscuit is ready to serve. Store it in an airtight container.
