Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 cups moong dhuli dal(washed and soaked in water for 4 to 5 hours)


  • 3 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves


  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1/3 tsp salt or to taste


  • 1/2 tsp ginger finely chopped


  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  • 2-3 tbsp ghee to shallow fry

Directions

  • Drain the excess water from soaked dal and put into the blender with the coriander leaves and make a coarse paste
  • Transfer the mixture into a bowl and add cumin seeds, chopped green chillies, ginger, salt, lemon juice and mix well
  • Add water and make a pouring consistency batter.
  • Heat non-sticky pan and spread some ghee over it
  • Now pour the batter over the pan and cook it from the both sides
  • Serve hot with chutney or sauce
