  • 1 nos mango ripe and sweet

  • 3 tbsp onion/spring onion finely chopped

  • 1 tsp green chilli chopped and deseeded

  • 1 tsp mint leaves chopped fine

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 1/2 tsp olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder

  • 1/2 tsp red chilli flakes


  • Wash and peel the mango and cut into small cubes.
  • Chop onion, chillies and mint finely.
  • In a mixing bowl toss the mango, onion , chillies and mint leaves with the lemon juice.
  • Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle the salt, black pepper powder and chilli flakes
  • Chill in the refrigerator for an hour
  • Serve with nachos, chips or any other snacks
  • My tip Onions are added for the crunch , you can pretty much change and can also add colorful bell peppers for a variation.
