Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 2 cups white pumpkin


  • 1/4 cups water


  • 3/4 cups sugar


  • 4 tbsp ghee


  • 1/2 tsp elachi powder


  • 1/4 tsp orange colour


  • 1 tbsp cashew and kismis

Directions

  • Heat 1 tblspn gheein a kadai. Add in cashews and fry it in the ghee. Once it turn golden, removeand set aside.
  • In the same kadai add in gratedwhite pumpkin and water and Saute it well in ghee. 
  • Once the pumpkin iscooked, add sugar and mix well. Keep stiring till the sugar dissolves and becomes thick.
  • Then add incardamom powder and ghee. Keep stirring well until the halwa starts leaving thesides.
  • Now add fried cashew and kismis mix well and serve.
