Grind the sugar with elaichi, to get a powdered elaichi flavoured sugar.
Mix all the ingredients except the crushed pistachios , with the powdered sugar and form a dough.
Now make small roundels of the dough and cut a tiny cross on top of each, with knife.
Sprinkle crushed pistachios on top and bake them in a preheated oven or microwave oven (convection mode) at 190℃ for 10-12 minutes or till golden colour is obtained. Cool them and serve.
