Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1 1/2 cups jowar flour


  • 1/2 cups wheat flour


  • 1 cups water


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1/2 cups oil

Directions

  • Mix every ingredients in a mixing bowl to form a soft dough. Then cover it with a damp cloth and let it rest for about 1/2 an hour.
  • Divide the Dough in to equal portions.
  • Take a dough and spread it into a thin chappati.
  • Apply oil over the whole chappati and fold it from the top till bottom and press it in between.
  • Then roll it tightly and spread it into chappati again.
  • Heat a tawa and place the parotta over the pan and cook both sides by applying oil till it is golden.
  • In the same way make 6 parotta and then stack them together and crush them with hands and then serve.
