Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 cups boiled mashed potatoes


  • 1/2 cups flour


  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder


  • 1 tsp olive oil


  • 3 tbsp for sauce: butter


  • 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic


  • 3-4 nos basil leaves


  • 3-4 nos cherry tomatoes


  • 1/2 tsp red chilli flakes


  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder

Directions

  • In a bowl take boiled mashed potatoes, all purpose flour, black pepper powder, salt. Mix well and knead a dough.
  • Take a small portion of the dough and roll into cylinders.
  • Cut into small pieces and make in your desired shape.
  • Heat water in a pan, add 1 tsp of olive oil and bring it to boil.
  • Add gnocchi pieces in boiling water.
  • Cook for few minutes or till they rise up and float on the surface.
  • Take it out on a plate and keep aside.
  • For the sauce: Heat butter in a pan, add finely chopped garlic and cook till the raw smell goes.
  • Next add basil leaves, red chilli powder, salt and pepper mix well and cook for a minute.
  • At last add gnocchi pieces mix well the butter sauce and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Switch off the gas and serve hot!
