Gnocchi In Butter Garlic Sauce

Serves 4

  • boiled mashed potatoes 1/2 cups

  • flour 1/2 cups

  • salt 1/2 tsp

  • black pepper powder 1/2 tsp

  • olive oil 1 tsp

  • For Sauce: butter 3 tbsp

  • finely chopped garlic 1 tbsp

  • basil leaves 3-4 nos

  • cherry tomatoes 3-4 nos

  • red chilli flakes 1/2 tsp

  • black pepper powder 1/4 tsp

    In a bowl take boiled mashed potatoes, all purpose flour, black pepper powder, salt. Mix well and knead a dough.

    Take a small portion of the dough and roll into cylinders.

    Cut into small pieces and make in your desired shape.

    Heat water in a pan, add 1 tsp of olive oil and bring it to boil.

    Add gnocchi pieces in boiling water.

    Cook for few minutes or till they rise up and float on the surface.

    Take it out on a plate and keep aside.

    For the sauce: Heat butter in a pan, add finely chopped garlic and cook till the raw smell goes.

    Next add basil leaves, red chilli powder, salt and pepper mix well and cook for a minute.

    At last add gnocchi pieces mix well the butter sauce and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Switch off the gas and serve hot!
