Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • Chole /White chickpeas (soaked in water overnight/fir 4hours) 250 gms


  • Masala onion chopped roughly 3 nos


  • ginger 1 inch


  • garlic 10 nos


  • red Chilli 1 nos


  • whole cinnamon 1 inch


  • Cardamom 2 nos


  • Everest Chole Masala 4 tsp


  • Tomato 2 nos


  • Mustard Oil 3 tbsp


  • Red Chilli Powder 2 tsp


  • Turmeric Powder 1/2 tbsp


  • Salt 1/2 tsp


  • Water 2 cups


  • Potato 2 nos


  • Green Chili 2 nos


  • bay leaf 1 nos

Directions

  • Place your pressure cooker add oil to it,once heated add tomato
  • Let the the Tomato cooked and be little mushy
  • In the mean time grind all masala to fine paste in mixie
  • Once tomoto is cooked add chole masala, turmeric powder and chilli powder and saute for 1 minute
  • Now add masala to it and add salt
  • Now add soaked chickpeas and cook till the masala is cooked and oil start coming from sides
  • Now add water and potato to it
  • Close the pressure cooker lid and give 3 to 4 whistle till chickpeas are tender and cooked
  • Now serve the chole Masala with rice or Indian breads
