Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 400 gms chicken


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 8-10 nos kashmiri red chilly


  • 1 nos onions, large sliced thinly


  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tbsp garam masala powder


  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder


  • 2 tsp cumin powder


  • 4 tbsp curd


  • 1 tbsp salt


  • 2 cups water

Directions

  • Take the chicken in a bowl, add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, Curd, salt and mix well. Keep aside.
  • Blend the dry chillies and garlic into a smooth paste and keep side.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add the onions and saute till onion turns soft.
  • Add the chicken and cook on high for around 5 mins and then cover the pan and cook on a low heat for 10 mins stirring in between.
  • Add the grounded chilly and garlic paste and mix well. Add some water and cook for about 10 mins.
  • Adjust the gravy consistency and take off the heat.
