Ingredients
Serves 7
Moog dal (soaked) 250 gms
Curd whisked 500 gms
Kali chutney/Tamarind chutney 8 tsp
Green chutney 8 tsp
Red Chilli Powder 2 tsp
Roasted cumin and red chilli powder 2 tbsp
Water 4 cups
Oil for deep frying 1 bowls
Sugar 1 tsp
Salt to taste 1 tsp
chat masala 1 tsp
Directions
Saok green moong dal in water for 30-50 minutes
In the mean time whisk the curd add sugar and salt to it
Keep the whisked curd in mixing bowl
In mixie jar grind moong dal to fine paste without using water (add 2 tsp of water if required to grind)
Transfer the batter to mixing bowl add salt to taste keep it aside for 10minutes
In the mean time deep fry pan heat oil for frying
Once heated fry the Bhalle in round shape using a round spoon
Fry till it's golden brown and put directly into water to get soft
Repeat the process with the remaining batter
Once the dumplings are soft squeeze them,by keeping them in between your palms
Add to whisked curd and coat it from all sides
Now add tamarind chutney and green chutney as topping
Now granish with red Chilli Powder, roasted cumin and red Chilli powder
Sprinkle some chat masala for Better taste
Dahi bhale are ready to serve
