Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 1/2 cups whole wheat flour


  • 1/4 tsp baking soda


  • 1/2 tsp baking powder


  • 1 3/4 cups oats flour


  • 1 tbsp cornflour


  • 2 tbsp water


  • 1/4 cups brown sugar powder


  • 1/2 cups white sugar powder


  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence


  • 1/2 tsp orange essence


  • 1/2 cups oil


  • 2-3 tbsp orange juice


  • 1 tbsp orange rind

Directions

  • Sieve whole wheat flour, baking powder and baking soda.
  • In a bowl add cornflour mixed with water, brown sugar , white sugar, orange essence, vanilla essence, oil and mix well.
  • Gradually add oats flour and flour mixture.
  • Once its mixed well add orange juice and orange rind and mix well.
  • Make cookie shapes and place on a tray lined with aluminium foil.
  • Bake for 13-15 minutes in a preheated oven ( 180 degree Centigrade).
  • Once done the cookies will be soft but will harden as they cool down.
