Whisk the butter till soft and fluffy. Mix the sugar and orange zest together, put this mixture into the above butter.
Whisk well and then add the orange extract. Now add the egg till, and whisk well. Mix in the salt and Maida into the above mix and knead a dough.
Chill for few minutes and roll out, cut the cookies out. Chill for 1 hour and then bake at 180 degree Celsius, in a preheated oven for 15 minutes. Cool them.
Mix the icing sugar and orange juice together until pasty, drizzle them over the cookies.
