Ingredients

Serves 3

  • Bread slices 8 nos

  • onion cut in cubes 1 nos

  • capsicum cut in cubes 1 nos

  • green chillies 2-3 nos

  • small carrot thinly sliced 1 nos

  • finely chopped garlic 1 tbsp

  • tomato sauce 4 tbsp

  • green chilli sauce 2 tbsp

  • vinegar 1 tsp

  • soy sauce 1 tsp

  • salt 1/2 tsp

  • black pepper powder 1/2 tsp

  • oil for cooking 2-3 tbsp

Directions

    Cut the edges of the bread and slightly toast from both sides in a non stick pan using oil or butter.

    Once done cut the bread slices in square pieces and keep aside.

    Heat oil in a non stick pan, add garlic saute for a minute.

  • 04

    Add onions saute for few seconds or till they are light pink in colour.

    Add thinly sliced carrot, green chillies and capsicum. Cover and cook for 1-2 minutes.

    Do not over cook, the capsicum should not lose its crunch.

    Add tomato sauce, green chilly sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, black pepper powder, salt and mix everything well.

    At last add the toasted bread pieces and gently mix with the masala. Cook for one more minute and switch off the flame.

    Garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot with a cup of tea. Enjoy!
