Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cups boiled chole


  • 1 nos chopped tomato


  • 1 nos chopped onion


  • 1 inch ginger


  • 1 tsp green chillies


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1/2 tsp haldi powder


  • 1 tbsp dhania jeera powder


  • 3 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp jeera


  • 1 tbsp fresh coriander leaves for garnishing


  • 5-6 nos onion slices for garnishing

Directions

  • In a pan heat oil
  • Once heated add jeera , chopped ginger ,onions
  • Put a pinch of salt
  • Saute till translucent
  • Now add tomato puree (tomato and green chillies)
  • Cook till it leaves the sides of the pan
  • Now add the spices and boiled chole
  • Stir well
  • Add 2 cups of water
  • On medium flame let the chole be cooked covered with the lid
  • After 7 to 8 minutes open the lid and check
  • Your masala chole is ready to serve
