Ingredients

Serves 4

  • FOR DOUGH: all purpose flour 100 gms

  • Oil for moyan 20 gms

  • SYRUP: sugar 1/4 cups

  • Water 2 tbsp

  • Saffron 8-10 nos

  • Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp

  • FILLING: mawa 100 gms

  • Almond 2 tbsp

  • Cashew 1 tbsp

  • Chironji 1 tbsp

  • Pistachio 2 tbsp

  • GARNISH: almond and pistachio silvers 2 tbsp

  • Dried rose leaves 2 tbsp

  • FRYING: ghee 2-3 cups

Directions

    Dough: add oil in maida and rub nicely to get bread crumb like texture.add water little by little and knead to a semi soft dough. cover and keep aside.

    Chop nuts for filling.

    Cook mawa in heavy bottom pan over low flame for 4-5 minutes. Add all chopped nuts.

    Syrup: cook sugar, water, saffron and cardamom powder till 1 string consistency.

    Divide dough in 4 equal parts.

    Roll the dough ball little and fill generous stuffing. Seal the edges.

    Fry kachoris over low flame till golden colour.

  • 08

    Make hole in centre of fried kachori. Fill sugar syrup inside. Garnish with chopped nuts and rose petals.
