Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • 5-6 cups puffed rice


  • 1 tbsp salt


  • 1 tbsp chaat masala


  • 1/2 cups mixed nuts


  • 12 nos hazelnuts


  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder


  • 10 nos curry leaves


  • 1 tsp turmeric


  • 1/2 cups peanuts


  • 2 tbsp lemon juice


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp pomegranate powder


  • 1 tsp or dry mango powder

Directions

  • In a big vessel, heat oil, add curry leaves first.
  • Then add peanuts and the chilli flakes or powder. After peanuts are roasted well, add the puffed rice.
  • Mix well and let it roast on low flame until crispy for about 4 to 5 minutes. Keep stirring in between.
  • Sprinkle chaat masala and anardana (pomegranate powder) on top and mix well. That's it. It is all done.
  • To make it more appealing to the kids, i served them in shallow fried capsi baskets. Kids as well as adults will love to have these as a munchie.
