Ingredients

Serves : 7
  • 1 kgs carrot(grated)


  • 250 ml milk


  • 1/2 cups jaggrey


  • 4 nos green cardamom


  • 4 tbsp ghee


  • 1 cups dry fruits of your choice(dates, rasinis and cashew)


  • 1 pinch salt to taste

Directions

  • Take a heavy bottom kadhai/fry pan, once heated add grated carrot to it
  • Now cook the grated carrot in medium flame till it becomes tender and all water of carrot dries
  • Now add ghee to it and again cook for 5minutes t,till you can smell the aroma of ghee and carrot
  • Now Add crushed green Cardamom to it
  • Now add milk and cook for 5 minutes and stir in between
  • Now add Jaggery to it and cook till its cooked and completely in dry consistency
  • Now add salt give a quick mix and cook for 1 minure
  • Add 3/4 cup of all cut dry fruits and give a mix and cook for another 2 miutes
  • Off the gas stove and keep aside to cool down a little
  • Transfer your gajar/carrot halwa to dish and granish with left dry fruits
  • Serve your halwa warm
