Description

Paneer Labadar is a very popular dish and can be found on the main menu of many restaurants. This recipe is more of punjabi style than of mughlai with the use of tomatoes onions and spices.

Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 4 nos onion medium size


  • 4 nos tomatoes


  • 10-12 nos garlic flakes


  • 5-6 nos green chillies


  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tsp haldi


  • 1 tbsp paneer masala


  • 1 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tsp dhania powder


  • 1 tbsp kasuri methi

Directions

  • Heat 1 teaspoon oil, add finely chopped onions garlic and green chillies saute till they are caramelised. , .
  • Now add one teaspoon cumin seeds , 1/2 teaspoon haldi , 1 teaspoon garam masala , 1 tablespoon red chilli powder stir it well
  • Now add chopped tomatoes , cook till the mixture is dry , now add salt , add coarsely dhaniya powder .
  • Off the flame and let it cool.
  • once the mixture is cooled ,put it in blender , Blend it till it is smooth with some water,
  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in the same pan
  • put the mixture heat it again cook till oil seperates add paneer. Paneer masala add lemon juice , kasurimethi . Garnish With coriander.
  • Serve hot with nan or chappati.
