Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1/2 cups milk


  • 1/2 cups water


  • 5-6 nos ghee


  • 1/2 cups almonds chopped roughly


  • 1/2 cups cashews chopped roughly


  • 5-6 tbsp sugar

Directions

  • Knead a smooth dough with the first four ingredients mentioned.
  • Cover and set aside for 15 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into equal sized balls.
  • Roll each into a circular disc.
  • Roast each one on a tawa or a griddle.
  • When one side is done with brown spots all over, flip it over and smear a teaspoon of pure desi ghee.
  • Allow the other side to cook too.
  • Flip it back again and sprinkle a teaspoon of sugar.
  • Finally top it up with a few chopped nuts.
  • Follow the same for all the rotis and serve them hot immediately.
  • This is a very famous Hyderabadi breakfast till date and it brings back all the childhood memories that never ever fades. I brought a slight twist to this as an innovative idea with dry fruits added. I hope you all will love this twist by me. Enjoy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
