seedless dates 140-150 gms
soaked & peeled almonds 40 gms
golden raisins 1 tbsp
walnuts 30 gms
desiccated coconut 2 tbsp
milk 2 tbsp
white sesame seeds to garnish on ready rolls 1 tbsp
ghee to grease palms 1 tsp
powder 1 tsp
Kesar strands soaked in water 10 nos
First dry roast almonds, walnuts , sesame seeds and raisins on low flame turn-wise. keep aside them to cool.
Pulse in blender all the dry fruits with milk and dates for 3 to 4 times or more till you get them in small bits and pieces. Don't make a powder or paste.
After pulsing, if you get slightly large pieces of almonds in the mixture, then remove and chop them.
Remove the coarse mixture of dry fruits and dates. Add cardamom and keep aside.
Apply a bit of ghee on your palms and roll each mixture part into a log.
Cover each log with sesame seeds.
Now cover with edible silver layer.
At last apply a dot of kesar on all silver layered logs.
Serve dry fruits logs as a sweet or as an after meal dessert.
Its very yummy and nutritious.
